Thx. Yeah I mean he was accused of a murder he didn't commit and imprisoned with horrors in an alternate dimension for who knows how long. I like to think about what my characters are at their worst and at their best. I try showing his best when he thinks about how loyalty was important etc. But he is still an ironsworn. He has to follow the vow (or the story makes no sense^^)
Sharp short conflict at the point of a sword....skullduggery's afoot with the Rulers for sure! Not quite at a clifthanger pause, but twil do. Wonder if the team ever thought "what could go wrong...easy snatch..."?
Ah yeah, session played out like that and running a bit out of steam at the end but I used the set a scene move or whatever it's called at the beginning of the next session. That might have been good here for tension
